An outstanding mid century Guy Rogers Manhattan recliner chair dating from the 1960’s. Superbly elegant from all angles and a fantastic example of classic mid century modern design. Produced by renowned furniture maker Guy Rogers and retailed at Heals of London this is a must have for any mid century furniture aficionado.

The luxurious new upholstery is a wool, flax and silk blend from Camira Fabrics. The colourway is Imeon, a beautiful blend of warm greys, flecks of white and black. To complete the mid century aesthetic the front of the accent cushion is from Stof Fabric, a Danish textile company founded in 1970.

Fully refurbished this is a very comfortable chair with the benefit of 4 seating angles; an upright position along with 3 different reclining settings for ultimate relaxation. The teak frame is in great condition for its age and has been lightly sanded and protected with Osmo sealant followed by a wax polish to enhance the beauty of the grain. The padded adjustable back rest is fully supported by new elasticated webbing, the seat pad rests on new Pirelli rubber webbing. All fabric, foam and fillings used in the refurbishment are new fire retardant materials
