Parker Knoll 988/1023 Wingback Chair in Grey Boucle

An elegant mid century Parker Knoll wingback chair now fully refurbished and reupholstered. This popular 988/1023 model is a striking design with angular wings piped in deep blue to correspond with the blue button detail on the back rest. These popular chairs are very versatile and make especially good fireside or reading chairs.

This is a one off statement piece, refurbished and reupholstered in a soft wool and mohair boucle in Steel Grey with a contrasting loose cushion backed in grey wool. It is advisable to request a fabric sample as the tone and colour does vary depending on your device.

A very comfortable and supportive chair which has been stripped and fully refurbished. The sprung back rest has all new coir fibre covered in soft wadding, the new medium density foam seat pad rests on tension springs with a new spring cover. The beech frame is in good condition for its age and has been sanded and protected with a clear coat of Osmo sealant followed by a wax finish. All fabric, foam and fillings used in the refurbishment are new fire retardant materials.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Please note some small areas of the original dark stain are just visible in places. This does not affect the overall beauty of the piece but should be noted.
