An absolutely magnificent fully refurbished Vono Penthouse chair with matching footstool. This classic egg style chair was manufactured by renowned British furniture maker Vono (Vono being an acronym of Vaughan only, no other) in the 1970’s, this particular chair on the 27th August 1975 as the makers date on the shell denotes. No longer in production they are now much sought after and highly collectible chairs. Stunning from all angles they swivel and gently tilt, and for optimum comfort we have partnered this one with a swivel footstool from the same period.

The exquisite fabric from Cristina Marrone is called Salice, the colourway is Waves – a mid blue which is soft to the touch with a slight nap and subtle ripple giving it an organic timeless look. With a contrasting scatter cushion in golden yellow this is a stunning mid century combination. It is advisable to request a fabric sample as the colour depiction may vary depending on your device.

This is a superbly comfortable and supportive lounging combination. The chair has been fully refurbished with quality materials from the shell upwards. The original chrome chair base with its swivel and tilt mechanism is fully functional and in great condition for its age. The swivel footstool from the same period is fully functional and has been upholstered to complement the design of the chair perfectly.

Please note there is a small section of plastic missing from the side of one of the chair base feet (see close up image). This is purely cosmetic and does not affect the overall beauty or functionality of the chair.

All fabric, foam and filling materials used in the refurbishment comply with UK fire regulations for domestic use.
